Our experts are selected based on clinical excellence and empathy. Coaches are tested for their ability to provide evidence based information objectively from a variety of clinical backgrounds. They are also evaluated on their ability to relate to clients. Most of our providers have Master's degrees (or higher!) with additional certifications to complement and enhance their skill sets. All coaches have significant experience in working with individuals and couples in fertility, pregnancy or parenthood.

Preconceive Fertility Coaches are required to be Registered Nurses (RN) with at least 3 years of experience working in fertility clinics and centers for reproductive medicine (one of our nurses has 27 years of experience!). Our Fertility Coaches have significant experience in providing clinical support and education in IVF, IUI, egg donation, egg freezing, sperm donation, and surrogacy, to single moms, single dads, heterosexual couples and LGBT couples. Their knowledge and experience in working in a clinical setting provides the most objective support and detailed instruction you need to make the best decision for you.
Preconceive Pregnancy Coaches are Certified Nurse Practitioner - Midwives with a minimum of 2 years of experience in prenatal, obstetric, labor & delivery, and postpartum care. Preconceive Pregnancy Coaches bring evidence based knowledge to the table along with their clinical experiences in working with women and new babies. Some Preconceive Pregnancy Coaches have doula certification to complement their nursing training, although all Pregnancy Coaches. Pregnancy Coaches understand the full spectrum of pregnancy and postpartum health, providing the trustworthy and relatable support you seek.
Newborn care :
Preconceive Newborn Coaches have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as Pediatric Nurses (RN) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (PNP). Preconceive Newborn Care Coaches are chosen on their experience working in a variety of pediatric clinical settings including, labor & delivery floors, NICUs, well-baby nurseries, pediatric clinics, work as prenatal and postnatal instructors, and other newborn or pediatric hospital settings. All Preconceive Newborn Care Coaches are well versed in newborn care and infant and child development. Some of our Newborn Coaches are doulas who follow evidence based practices and have 3 or more years working with a variety of types of families and newborns with a newborn care specialization. Preconceive Newborn Care Coaches are chosen on their ability to be team-players with new parents, to educate and empower you for making the best decisions. Working with Preconceive Newborn Care Coaches leaves more room for quality bonding time with your new baby.
Preconceive Adoption Coaches are Social Workers with a minimum of 3 years of experience in working with heterosexual and LGBT, singles and couples. All Adoption Coaches have provided coaching and counseling services to those beginning to explore adoption as an option all the way through to helping new parents make sure they have everything they need for their adopted child. Our coaches will get you pointed in the right direction for growing your family whether you are single, a couple, have gone through fertility treatments, or have already started building your nest.
Preconceive Breastfeeding Coaches are Registered Nurses (RN) with additional training as International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) or Certified Lactation Consultants (CLC). They work with newborns and new moms everyday to make sure new families are on a consistent plan that works for them. A combined nursing and lactation background allows our Breastfeeding Coaches to provide the best evidence based support for your baby's feeding needs and your lifestyle. That means 100% support no matter how you choose to feed your baby - breast milk, formula or a combo of each. Our Breastfeeding Coaches' goals revolve around getting your baby fed, in the most empowering, respectful and supportive way. No judgements here. They're available for phone and home consults (or at the hospital right after you deliver!). Currently in-person consults with Preconceive Breastfeeding Coaches are available in the Greater NYC Metro Area.
Infant CPR & Safety Coaches
Preconceive CPR Coaches are certified by the American Heart Association to teach Infant and Pediatric CPR. Some Preconceive CPR Coaches are also certified in Infant and Pediatric First Aid. Instructor training with the American Heart Association is over 15 hours long, requiring instructors to practice educating real clients under the supervision of the AHA. Preconceive CPR Coaches are also evaluated on their ability to engage their audience while teaching.
Preconceive Emotional Support Coaches have clinical backgrounds and are Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Doctors of Psychology (PsyD), or PhD's in Clinical Psychology (PhD). Preconceive Emotional Support Coaches are professionals with significant background in providing private counseling and coaching to singles and couples during the spectrum of family building stages - planning, fertility, pregnancy and parenthood. All Preconceive Emotional Support Coaches are required to have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with clients in private practice. Their experience in working in a clinical setting allows them to bring evidence based practices, skill and techniques to coach Preconceive clients. All coaching is objective and supportive to get you to the most empowered place in your family building journey.
PERINATAL FITNESS & Personal Training:
Preconceive Fitness Coaches are Fitness Trainers with Certification in Prenatal and Postnatal Fitness. Preconceive Fitness Coaches have a minimum of 2 years of training women prenatally and postnatally. Some Preconceive Fitness Coaches are also Certified Yoga Instructors with experience working with women in pre- and postnatal stages. Whether you want to build strength, improve flexibility, or have a gentle recovery, Preconceive Fitness Coaches are here to bring you the safest work out routines for your changing needs.
Preconceive Genetics Coaches are Certified Genetic Counselors with Masters in Science in Genetics (MS). Certified Genetic Counselors are required to practice their clinical skills in patient education. Preconceive Genetics Coaches have a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing support and education to individuals and couples in fertility, pregnancy, and prenatal genetic counseling. Preconceive Genetics Coaches are chosen based on their understanding of scientific evidence, experience in delivering fertility, pregnancy and prenatal genetics education, and ability to relay information in language you understand.
Preconceive Nutrition Coaches are Registered Dietitians (RD) or Clinical Nutrition Consultants (CNC), some Preconceive Nutrition Coaches are also Certified Dietitians or Nutritionists (CDN) and many have their Master's in Science in Nutrition (MS). Preconceive Nutrition Coaches are chosen on their knowledge and experience in providing clients with nutritional tools during fertility, pregnancy and parenthood. Nutrition Coaches have a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing nutritional counseling, advice and coaching to women (and men!) seeking to improve their fertility, pregnancy and postpartum health.
Preconceive Sleep Coaches are Certified Pediatric Behavioral Sleep Coaches, Behavioral Sleep Coaches, or PhD's with background in sleep counseling. All Sleep Coaches are required to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in coaching and counseling individuals and families to create strong sleep routines and habits in infants and children. Sleep Coaches are screened on their knowledge of infant and child development which in turn affects sleep patterns and routines. Preconceive Sleep Coaches are chosen based on their ability to work with parents' sleep needs along side parenting goals, providing clients objective support and bedtime solutions.
