Women who are trying to start a family feel a lot of pressure to know what they are doing and to enjoy every moment of it. Not having those things happen can be really upsetting. Amy Bosk, a licensed social worker, wants to help women recognize that these feelings are completely ok. It's ok if the transition to motherhood isn't easy or always happy — it's going to feel like a disaster sometimes, and that's totally normal. Amy will be a compassionate ear to whatever you are feeling, whether you're dealing with infertility, have experienced a loss, or are just not adjusting to being a mother like you thought you would. She will help you identify what is contributing to your emotions, and help you get past that. She understands how important it is to find emotional outlets and to find support for yourself that is on target. She will meet you where you are, and work on what is relevant to you in that moment, and get you where you need to be in your new role as a mom or mom-to-be.
